Real Salt Late win 2-1 to move at the top of the league

Real Salt Late came from behind to beat Houston Dynamo 2-1 and move at the top of the table together with Colorado.

The first half was quite poor for the neutrals with both defences coming out on top. The first occasion of the half came for Real Salt Late when Juan Manuel Martinez fired a powerful shot that was saved by Joe Willis. The build-up to the shot was quite excellent as well with Martinez dribbling pass Rodriguez with some ease.

Few minutes later, the same Martinez will get another occasion to score, but again he will be denied by the Dynamo keeper.

The match will reach half time with the score 0-0. After the restart, it will be the Houston Dynamo who will start the game better. The first occasion will come to Leonel Miranda in the 54th minute. He benefited from a great work from Giles Barnes to put Dynamo ahead.

However, the Houston Dynamo will not be ahead for long as Real Salt Late will equalize only 8 minutes later. Jordan Allen will be able to beat the offside trap on a long pass from Justen Glad and score an excellent goal to put his side levelled.

The match will open up with both sides getting occasions to win the game and in the 70th minute, YuraMovsisyan will score the winning goal for Real Salt Lake. The move prior to the goal was quite excellent as well. Allen found Demar Phillips with a wonderful through ball and the latter sent in a telling cross which YuraMovsisyan met brilliantly with. This was the second goal of the season for the Real Salt Lake player.

The goal helps Real Salt Lake move to the top of the table and become joint leaders with Colorado.
